To Inspire & Prepare
At Blessed Sacrament Academy we believe that we make a difference in each life we touch. We are called by God to serve humanity by educating "at risk" children & youth. We recognize the important role we play in the lives of the children and young adults whom we serve. Through love, attention and nurturing, the children, students and their parents involved in our programs and child development centers build self-esteem and find their hidden potential. They are tomorrow's productive citizens. We view our students as seeds of hope waiting to bloom. In order for these seeds to grow and flourish, the school environment provides love, support and acceptance for each child. Blessed Sacrament Academy prepares students for a bright future and a panorama of possiblities.
*Hope is The Child - Love is the Gardener by G.E. Mullan was commissioned by alumnae and community leader, Rosemary Kowalski, President Emeritus of the RK Group.

"For many of our children and young people, Blessed Sacrament Academy is the "tipping point" where child-centered education is practiced and honored and families find that extra spirit of care, support and challenge which make the important difference."

Hope is the Child - Love is the Gardener
Artist G.E. Mullan has visuallycaptured the philosophy of Blessed Sacrament Academy. The children depicted are learning toplant the seedlings which will develop with care and nourishment into the full bloom of life. The woman - symbol of nurturing and protection - watches over the children without interfering with their creativity and discovery. The flowers are symbols of the bright hopes within each child's life which can only reach maturity with the nourishment of love. The circle which contains the image is a symbol of the cycle of life, completeness, and unity, and this, in turn, is set against a square border which is a symbol of the physical world in which they live. The tree of life which arches over the figures is a universal symbol of the life force, and green, the dominant color in the painting, is a symbol of life, growth, and hope.
